I was born and raised in Annapolis and recently returned to those roots after almost 25 years of adventuring in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Northern California and Colorado.

 

I began making jewelry when she was 8, after discovering a wonderful bead shop on Maryland Avenue, so I love teaching both kids and adults. After many years of self-taught trial and error, I began taking classes at Maryland Institute College of Art's Meadow Mill facility, then moved to NYC to complete the studio program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. While completing this training in Manhattan, I wove in personal explorations along the way, taking classes at the 92nd Street Y and Haystack Mountain School of Craft in Maine. 

Moving west soon called, so we relocated to the CA Bay area, where I worked in custom jewelry design and diamond sales for five years.

I now work in marketing at a job that I love and Scott and Iive in Annapolis with our kiddo, Greta, and our bossy pets.
